Sahfy H. Ismail

Sahfy H. Ismail is the Founder and President of CfJ, embodying the organization’s mission to advocate for justice and equity. He is an Attorney-at-Law and a respected practitioner in both civil and criminal law, with a thriving private practice. Sahfy’s journey as a human rights advocate began during his university days, where he gained recognition as a dynamic civil and human rights activist. He holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.), and he has also completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Criminal Justice Administration at the Open University of Sri Lanka. His leadership and vision continue to guide CfJ in challenging injustices, empowering marginalized communities, and holding institutions accountable.
