Dawn of Centre for Justice
The UGAPA Srilanka Undergraduate Association for Alternative Policy, a social service NGO that has been operating for about 10 years since 2008, has been renamed as Centre for Justice on 2018.05.2. UGAPA Sri Lanka has been established in 2008 with few undergraduate students from state universities and it had been rendering tremendous service to the community and undergraduate students.
The annual general meeting was held on 22-05-2018 at the head office. In the special meeting the following office bearers have been elected by executive committee.
President – Sahfy H. Ismail.
General Secretary – Riyadh A. Majeed, Assistant Manager, Samurdhi Bank,
Treasurer – AA. Ashraf Ali
Deputy President- UKM. Rimzan
Asst. Secretary – MAS. Hilmikar
Asst. Treasurer – MYM. Rakeeb
Facilitator – AM. Sifan
Many academics, lecturers, social workers, etc. had also elected as executive members.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Sabrin, Social Services Officer, Sainthamaruthu Divisional Secretariat and other dignitaries.
